Would you pay extra for you food from a farmer’s market if…?

Horse Drawn Farm Equipment
it came from a farm that used only horse drawn equipment, and used the horses to pull the wagon with produce to the farmer's market?
Why, or why would you not pay more? (not a huge amount more, but still more than most would be charging)

IF I can afford to buy from a non-mechanical (ish) farm I would be willing to pay a bit more – as I would for organic. I also prefer local, family business over the big corporation.

Yes, for German Weißbier, cheese, bread, strudel, mustard, and sauerkraut. Anything else, NO.

It seems like you should just drive to the farm and buy it. That should make up the difference in the cost, and make it easier for the farmer.

I do pay more for food from farmer’s markets and ideologically the use of horses over machinery would appeal to me. However, I don’t think many people would make the connections nor place additional value on a product sold this way. It would be seen (in my view) as a gimmick, rather than a valid greener option.
The food should in reality to be cheaper, no initial outlay, no ongoing chemical costs, no massive maintenance costs (as opposed to vet bills), no massive machinery replacement costs. Lower running costs. However, the cost of man hours and horse hours would increase prices.

I would need to be convinced that horse drawn equipment is actually any more environmentally friendly than mechanized. Horses eat and poop, even when they aren’t working so I don’t think it is a foregone conclusion that they are better.
The last answer needs to apply some logic and realize that if organic farming and horse powered equipment was actually cheaper then farmers would have never switched to mechanization and chemical fertilizers.
