6. What country did Appaloosas come from? The Palouse area is drained by the Palouse river, and it became known as the Palouse country. And there were quite a few free roaming spotted horses in the area that had got away either from the Palouse or Nez Perce Indians.

I’m gonna say 16 hands. If you’re counting ponies in horses, then it’s probably 15.

Chestnut? or bay. dunno which.
3. What is your fav horse breed?
Trekehner
4. Name two very popular horse breeds.
Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse.
5. What saddle do you use for jumping?
English. Hunter, but I have seen people jump in dressage saddles.
6. What country did Appaloosas come from?
The US… the indians made them… the Nez Perce.
7. What color is Ginger in “Black Beauty”?
She’s a chestnut. And ever since that movie, chestnut mares always tend to end up named Ginger.

5. What saddle do you use for jumping? My custom-made no brand western saddle (makes it sound bad, but the guy who made it is so good at making saddles!)
6. What country did Appaloosas come from? Technically the united states. The Nex Perce perfected the breed.

2. the most domanat horse color is probably sorrel
3. I love quarter horses because they are short and stocky and fast sprinters
4. Throughbreds and Quarter Horses are very popular breeds
5. I dont jump….. I barrel race…..and I got my saddle for free so I have no clue what kind it is besides old lol
6. Did appy’s orginate here in the U.S? I dont know alot about appys sorry…
7. Was Ginger a sorrel or a chestnut…..gawd I havent seen Black Beauty in forever.

Nez Pierce perfected the breed, but the horses themselves came from Spain with the Spainish explorers. I noticed everyone said, “America(s)”, “US”, or “USA”. True, the breed was founded here, but to get here they had to come from somewhere, i.e. Spain. But ‘Spotted’ horses can be found throughout history in, Persia, China, and Europe as well.

im not goign to answer evrything but a jumping saddle is called a close contact saddle, not a jumping saddle or whatever other idead popped up haha
