Vegan horse gear, any ideas?

Horses Gear
Any vegan riders out there? I'm not vegan, but could possibly be one day. Evidently horseback riding gear isn't vegan and horseback riding/horses are my passion. Do you know of any stores that sell vegan horseback riding gear (boots/maybe tack?)/tips for vegan riders in general?

Synthetic is the way to go. Wintec, and Thoroughgood at the two companies I like but there are a few synthetic brands out there. Also nylon tack is always out there for bridles and halters. Rubber boots for riding in rather than leather. It can be done and it will cost you a lot less than buying leather goods!

I tried going vegan (I only lasted about a month) but I just didn’t have enough energy for riding so I went back to being vegetarian- finding completely vegan horse tack may be a challenge, but it can be done (if you don’t plan on showing). You’d need a synthetic saddle (bridle, breastplate, etc.) and synthetic boots.

I use a synthetic saddle made by Big Horn and it works wonders! also try getting a hackamore, instead of a leather bridle, these usually come in nylon

If your so worried about vegan make you a rope bridle and ride bare back. That would be the most natural thing to do.
