@FreekyDragon96 for training or teaching a young horse you dont use a western… calm down… there’s a reason why serious jumpers DONT jump in western tack… thats what im getting at, not that you cant ride both…

@tucker72100 For One You Cant Say That A Person Riding In A Western Saddle Doesnt Ride English!! I Ride Both English And Western But I Mainly Use a Western Saddle That Right There Is called Judging and In Your case Bullshit!!

Ignore The Haters
(not Hating) But Western Saddles Are 2 heavy to jump in over a foot That may be why hes struggling and for no teaching Your doing A Great friggin Job!

hey cool video and well done but just space out your jumps a little so he can take a proper stride not a bounce then he might not knock it

@cinch920 its not called being borring, its called being safe and practicing good hormanship. sure have fun! i love jumping no stirrups, hands, eyes, but you have to make sure there is someone who knows about jumping horse and a horse who knows what hes doing to, and using proper standards and poles. you could be hard on your horses back bouncing around like that when he is trying to jump. (which it doesnt look like he does often)

I thought people in western saddles cant jump :l

You are going to kill a horse doing that. That WILL RUIN THEIR BACKS! HAVE COMMON SENSE IF YOUR GOING TO BE HANDLING HORSES!
December 6th, 2010 at 5:14 pm
You can see the horse isnt comfortable with jumping the jumps as it is rushing over the jumps as quick as it can and dont even try and say thats enthusiasm!!!

@tucker72100 i’m also pretty sure noone has ever taught me how to jump. so that would explain my so called “chicken legs”
December 6th, 2010 at 10:52 pm
@tucker72100 its called jumping for fun. way to take the fun outta it. geezzz u un-fun person. u sound boooooring.
December 6th, 2010 at 11:48 pm
Kay first things first, why are you jumping your horse out of control, both your upper body before and after the jump (falling forward or going ahead of the horse or being left behind), your legs flying around like chikcen legs… has anyone taught you to keep your leg on over the jump??? Not off in the wind???
Third thing, when “teaching” your horse to jump dont use lawn chair to hold up the jumps, if your horse gets caught up in the jump (because you dont know how to jump) you both will fall

@ponyz07 nice
i love the “HATERS” comments lol how are we haiting if we concerned with the poor horse being made to do this. You wouldnt go run a marathon in high heels so why jump with improper equipment!!
