A guy at my barn builds tack lockers, so i bought one.
only $100, and i couldn’t live without it.

If you live near a Rule King or T.S.C or any feed store there probably is some there. also you could look at a horse magazine like country supply or visit horse.com.

Okay. I just got myself a tack trunk it is my life!
i needed it to put ALL my riding stuff in there.
when i finished putting everything in, there was still room, so i decorated it and put in some extra things like a hair brush, show things, birthday things, things that i don’t think i will ever use, but i am not allowed to give away.
Tack trunks are not really cheap but they last a lifetime! and i don’t know how i lived without it.

At our barn we use tack trunks! You can get some super nice ones from dover or any other horse company, or you could just get a generic one from any hardware store nearby.

I just use the lockable rubbermade or sterilite bins. They are big and hold plenty of stuff. My current one I have had for maybe 8 yrs now and itsnot cracked or broken. I paid maybe 15$ for it at walmart. They are also super for storing blankets/sheets etc. I have a whole room in my attic full of trucks with the horses extra stuff in them.

I bought a big plastic locker from home depot (they also sell them at lowes.) It comes with shelves and hooks and fits all my stuff in it. If you want one for saddles then buy the short kind. They’re way cheaper than buying ones from the magazines.
