yah ur rite and i wuldnt want info like dis eithr especial since im a beginer rider stil i dont do western, im doin english so i wuldnt reely know wat dese peopl wer sayin she was doin wrong.its just not just dis lady though dere is always a vid of someone riding or tackin up horse and dere is always a snobby person out dere who has to say somthin reely insultin

I think a lot of the problem comes from the idea of this is how I do it so it’s the only right way. the way we were taught
we put the horse’s bridal on first.
then drop one rein he won’t move after that so no need for tying or hanging on to lead ropes.
then the pad saddle but I have never used the buckle on the cinch. do a Texas T I think they call it, and we don’t have problems. the black leathe on her pad our pads only have one it goes to the front of the saddle.

actually alot o0f people cinch up horses that way, me included. i have never had a saddle slip on me. just because its not tied dosent mean its not done correctly

she totally forgot to tie the latigo..Like a bow tie when your done so it doesn’t come off..I wanna see her ride in that saddle and see how fast that comes undone.

and about the martingale/breast collar question, they give you less control over your horse on most horses;)

omg shes like clueless! the saddle pad is too far forward on the neck and when tightening the billet strap, u put it as tight as u can! the horse will naturally push out his stomach! its instinct, ppl, instinct for a horse to make sure he doesnt suffocate with a saddle, ur not gona get it too tight as long as the horse is alive lol!

i dont want to sound rude or anything but i dont use a breast collar when i ride western and my saddle is fine
