I think silver would look okay, but I would get a black halter, not dark brown.

I was not a fan of the silver halter. I would get a dark brown one.

It depends on what level you’re wanting to show in. Local shows or more competitive breed shows? If you’re looking to be competitive, you need the silver halter as thats whats in. Even though halter is meant to be judged on the horse’s conformation, we all know that turnout has an effect!
I would go with the dark brown halter. As a general rule, much black leather is of lower quality than brown because the ease of dying. And I think the dark brown would look better than black. Make sure to get a matching lead for the halter!

Black is kind of tacky so I would stick with the dark brown. I haven’t seen anyone use black leather(except for boots and chaps) in 7 years! Your mare is beautiful and she would look really good in the dark brown. I would stick to a plain halter without the silver. Go for triple stitched with brass fittings.

Definitly the dark brown. It would go best with her coat color, and the silver would be fine.

when you show APHA ground classes, you ALWAYS have a sliver halter. the halter you showed looks really cheap, but if you aren’t doing high level shows (breed) that halter is fine. i would go with dark brown because black is out of style in the show pen. she is a really good looking horse, are you doing showmanship or halter?

The dark brown would go amazing on her! she is a beatiful horse and should be complemented by a beautiful color. YES TO THE SILVER! lol
