yes it does! most english saddles look the same but hold tight if plan on jumping in a dressage saddle u’d probably fall straight of as there are no knee rolls, jumping saddles have more close contact points than other saddles except racing pads
so yes swishfoot it does matter, for you benifit and most importantly the horses!
